Sara Stark joined Dishoom in 2011. Dishoom now has five restaurants in London, and three outside (Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham), ten delivery kitchens and a successful online store. Sara has overseen the launches and growth of every restaurant along with a lot of other stuff, including releasing a best-selling cookbook, a record, at-home meal-kits and other products, and various events including an immersive theatre production! Dishoom is one of the most admired brands in the industry. Sara and the Dishoom team care enormously about creating beautiful and democratic shared spaces which pay homage to the old Irani cafés of Bombay. They also care deeply about charity – donating 11 million meals so far – and about creating an awesome place to work – the top employer in hospitality and 4th best in the whole of the UK, according to the most recent Best Companies survey.
