After finishing his second year at the University of Bath Rob discovered ‘flash freeze ice cream’ whilst backpacking in Thailand. Instantly in awe, I brought the concept back to the UK and created the brand Pan-n-Ice which had a fun & playful identity. By graduating the brand was turning over 7 figures with parlours in prestigious retail locations such as Westfield, Selfridges and Bicester Village, as well as major events for blue chip clients whilst delivering 100s of events a year across the globe for brands such as Google, Adidas and Grey Goose. The brand also gained popularity online, with over 1.3m followers. Having sold his interest in Pan-n-Ice he risked everything in the height of covid to sign a 20 year lease on a 5,000 sq ft site in Angel, Islington. Bubba Oasis is a 5,000 sq ft all day all night hangout for Gen Z and millennials, encouraging the cultivation of offline experiences. It is somewhere for this generation to go to feel inspired and reconnect, whereby we encourage creativity by day and controversy by night. The brand has three more sites in the pipeline across London in 2022.
