Rob Gartland is Group Marketing Manager at Simmons Bar. Starting his career in marketing from a hobby within COVID-19 lockdown as he craved the ability to be creative whilst on a break from a sales and events role – he launched a podcast, which streamed in over 100 countries, a photography blog and supported 5 businesses build their social media following. He used these skills to turn a redundancy meeting into a pitch and landed his first marketing role in the sector. This role turned into a Group Marketing Manager role at London Brasseries, allowing him to learn all the elements of marketing on the job. In 2022 he was recruited to Simmons Bars, the fastest growing independent bar group within the UK, where he leads brand definition and evolution to support their rapid expansion plans.
