Rik graduated from Newcastle University in 2010 and moved straight to London to work for Deloitte in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services. After three solid years and an accountancy qualification under his belt, he decided to pursue his entrepreneurial dream in hospitality. In the summer of 2014, he linked up with his university friend and talented chef - Will Bowlby. Soon after, Kricket was born and began life in a shipping container in June 2015 at Pop Brixton, South London. The origin concept was modern Indian small plates and cocktails, however this has since developed into Indian inspired cooking. Over the last three years, Rik and Will have opened three permanent sites located in Soho, Brixton and The Television Centre, White City. In 2016 Kricket Soho won a Michelin Bib Gourmand and was subsequently voted in the Top 100 Restaurants in the UK at the National Restaurant Awards for two years running.
