Alan has a passion for “telling the story”: presenting strategy, analysis and results to management, employees and Boards of Directors over his 16 years of experience leading fast casual, QSR, casual dining restaurants as CEO, President and CFO in both Europe and the USA. Alan is currently the CEO of Vapiano and Love & Food Restaurant Holding since mid-2020. He has been charged with the turnaround of the beloved Italian fast casual brand with over 200 stores in over 30 countries, post bankruptcy and the onset of the global pandemic.

Prior to Vapiano, Alan was the President of Burger King AmRest in CE including Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Bulgaria, helping to build out of 35 stores in 3 new markets totaling 80 stores across the region from 2018 to 2020. For that he received Franchisee of the Year award, Burger King EMEA 2019.
