Katherine Merley, Senior Commercial Manager, Bars & Casual Dining, SSP Group
Having worked in hospitality operations after leaving university, Katherine has had a varied career across different sectors before returning to the sector in 2018 in the role of Commercial Brand Executive at SSP, looking after Bars and Casual dining. She has had several promotions and is now a senior commercial brand manager in the team, responsible for UK & Ireland Bars, which generate £103M annual revenue. Her biggest successes have been delivering 5% EBITDA growth in FY18/19 across 80 units and launching the companies first order at table site solution, delivering 8-15% ATV growth and 90% penetration.
