Bio
Jo is Marketing Director at Heartwood Collection and plays a key role in the Group’s ambitious growth strategy, fuelled by an exciting rebrand last year which won a DRUM EMEA award for Best Rebrand. Since then, the Group has moved into pubs with rooms, with 8 new site openings in the past 12 months and an ambitious growth pipeline, of which communications, digital integration and guest experience is at the heart.
With over 18 years’ experience in international drinks and hospitality, Jo was previously Marketing Director at Shepherd Neame and has held senior international marketing and business development roles in Bacardi, Pernod Ricard and Edrington, as well as various NED positions including Visit Kent. Jo also holds an Executive MBA from London Business School.
Jo has a real passion for developing talent and is a qualified Executive Coach and previous mentor for Balance The Board’s Plan B initiative.
