This launch campaign delivered the dream marketing double-whammy of short-term buzz and long-term engagement. Tapping in to Y2K nostalgia with Tamagotchi was a great way to appeal to the target audience in a creative way which linked back to the breakfast offering, while specifically targeting Marugame Udon club card members rewarded loyalty and also encouraged additional membership registration, with 3,000 new club members demonstrating an outstanding result. The entry was well presented, with great visual evidence to demonstrate the success of the activity.
