Bella Italia were highly commended by the judges for their use of technology. With over 300 restaurants in the UK, Casual Dining Group (CDG) understandably have many different technology providers and suppliers across their suite of brands; all with different architectures and management streams.

To overcome this challenge CDG created a technology platform that allowed their teams to manage multiple, unique brands within one place, cutting out work inefficiencies. The platform consists of one backend system that integrates with their key third party suppliers, allowing control to sit with CDG instead of third party agencies.

Not only did the solution improve work efficiencies, Bella Italia saw website traffic, increase by 8.4%, conversions improve by 12% alongside increasing their database by 14% across 3 brands.
