Anders Houmann is founding partner in Victor Group that operates 14 restaurants and bars in Copenhagen, Denmark. Anders received a classical apprenticeship training as both a chef and a waiter in Denmark, and has worked as a chef in Denmark, France and the US. His first restaurant, Kanalen, opened in 1987 and is still today among the top of Copenhagen’s restaurants. Together with his business partner, Torben Olsen, he grew the group into one of Denmark’s most successful restaurant operators. In 2017 Mai Invest, a Danish private equity firm, bought 50% of Victor Group and the company is now expanding its footprint on the Danish restaurant scene.
