Bermondsey Pub Company (BPC) and Ignite Hospitality came as highly commended by our judges for its I Prefer Ale campaign. This saw an activation that drove excitement, driving people to their local pub. The creative concept captured the fun, playful and unapologetic IPA drinker, which started in the form of a video shared across social media and YouTube showing pub-goers being asked what they think IPA stands for. This was then followed up by a content plan that included animations and fun facts about IPA, all driving users to a bespoke landing page to convert people to find their local participating pub.
The campaign saw over 7,000 engagements, 320,000 video views and 4,300 website visits. The campaign was hailed a huge success by BPC for its creative approach to engage with local pub-goers.
